BCVS - Financial Management for Charities - Wednesday 2nd December 2009 - 10.00am-1.00pm

The above course will be held on Wednesday 2nd December 2009 at the BCVS Dukeries Centre, in Worksop, from 10.00am-1.00pm.
There is limited free car parking and the Centre is fully accessible.
The cost will be £20.00 per participant.

The tutor will be Jeanette Stafford from CA Plus who has a great deal of experience in this field.

She describes the course outline as:
This course will provide participants with key skills and knowledge of relevant issues to enable them to manage the finances of charitable organisations successfully.
The day offers an opportunity to meet others working in the sector, share experiences, make useful contacts and gain support.

Topics covered during the course include:

  • legal matters & financial regulations
  • financial controls & procedures
  • what the bookkeeper should be doing
  • budgets and variance reports
