BCVS - First Aid Appointed Person

Wednesday 26 May - 9.30am - 3.00pm - £49.50

 

This will be held on Wednesday 26 May 2010 9.30am -3.00pm at the BCVS, Dukeries Centre, Park Street, Worksop.
Coffee will be available on arrival and a simple buffet lunch will be provided.
The cost will be £49.50 per participant.
The session will be led by Harold Scott who is a fully accredited trainer in this field.

Course Aim
To give students the skill, knowledge and confidence to perform First Aid.
Proper First Aid support in organisations is an essential element in Health & Safety provision.
This course will be certificated for successful attendees.

The Topics to be covered:
Incident management, Casualty management including:

  • Initial assessment
  • Recovery position
  • C.P.R.
  • Control of Bleeding
  • Damage to the Brain
  • Sprains, strains and fractures
  • Burns

NB: This course will start at 9.30am prompt.
