The above course will be held on Tuesday 15 September 2009 at the BCVS Dukeries Centre in Worksop from 10.00am-3.00pm. There is limited free car parking and the Centre is fully accessible. The cost will be £35.00 per individual participant and includes a simple buffet lunch.

This is a practical one-day course for voluntary and community sector organisations wanting to develop their skills in identifying funding and writing funding bids.

The course will cover the whole cycle, from preparing your organisation to developing a fundraising strategy, identifying types and sources of funding and preparing your application.

Participants will be invited to be creative, have fun and work on a sample application.

Outcomes:
Participants will have gained techniques to assist them in identifying funding and writing a funding bid.
