The BCVS led development of EMVA marks a new exciting opportunity for VCSE organisations across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to work together to access regional, national, and international funding streams. BCVS has invested in a new AI system 'Plinth' which will support us to support our members to access new funding. Our vision is to ensure that the East Midlands VCSE sector receives its fair share of investment, enabling us to better serve our communities.
Why Join EMVA?
- Addressing Funding Disparities: VCSE organisations in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire currently access only half the national average value of grants per capita (Insight 2024). EMVA aims to change this.
- Proven Success: BCVS has secured over £2 million in funding with and for our members in the past two years, demonstrating our capacity to unlock funding through partnerships.
- Scaling Up: EMVA will provide a platform for collaborative funding bids, helping organisations of all sizes achieve more together.
How It Works
- Accountable Leadership: BCVS will act as the accountable body and lead applicant for EMVA-led funding applications, ensuring transparency and efficient delivery.
- Streamlined Processes: Partner organisations will use the Plinth platform for communications, applications, and due diligence processes. We will support you in setting up a free Plinth account to participate.
- Tailored Opportunities: Members will be invited to express interest in partnership opportunities that align with their specialisms, fostering relevant and impactful collaborations for funding opportunities.
