Valley Social Club - Bassetlaw learning Disability Association
Themes: Learning Disabilities, Social Activities
Aimed at: Adults 18+
The Valley Club is a weekly leisure club for adults with Learning Disabilities in the Bassetlaw area.
Our aim is to provide a safe and stimulating meeting place and social evening for our members each week. The club also provides a secondary service in that it gives an evening of respite to parents (many of whom are elderly). Our members vary in age from 18-70 and on average we have average 40 members attend each week. The club is popular with our members and has a good atmosphere and gives a lot back to our volunteers.
The club is fully wheelchair accessible and we welcome new members from all areas of Bassetlaw.
