Specialist Continence Advisory Service
We offer a confidential continence service for people over 18 years of age.
We provide high quality assessments for people with complex bladder and bowel problems. We aim to identify the cause of the problem and offer treatment to help people to self manage. For people identified with more complex needs we facilitate further referral and signposting for assessment and treatment within the health community.
We provide specialist nurse-led clinics in a variety of community settings.
The team has produce a comprehensive range of leaflets to support continence treatment programmes. These are designed to re-enforce information and guidance given by Health Professionals to patients and/or carers to empower and promote self care.
