Our Kickboxing Club in Bolsover has 8 local children and young people who have been selected to represent Great Britain at the WAKO Cadet World Championships in Jesolo, Italy next week.
They are part of a huge team of around 120 young people from across GB.
Our coach, Oliver Bonnington, has also been selected as part of the GB Coaching team, and we could not be more proud.
They have all trained so hard, many of them practically giving up their summer holidays to work for the championships. Their families have invested a lot, and alongside our club have been fundraising all summer to make this happen!
We often hear negative stories of children and young people, and we are proud to share a story that makes us so proud of these Boza kids.
Almost all of them attend The Bolsover School.
Please keep them in your thoughts and give them your support. We are hoping to bring some medals back to Bolsover.
