This project helps independent retail, hospitality or leisure business increase footfall and attract new customers, both in-person and online supporting the shift to online shopping as a result of Covid-19 which is expected to continue.
The High Street Enhancement Business Advisers can help businesses implement modern forms of online trading that complement, rather than replace, a high street presence.
Fully funded support is available:
- Dedicated Digital High Street Business Adviser to develop a business improvement action plan to increase your digital presence and attract new customers
- A grant of £2,000 to help implement activity from the business improvement action plan
- One year’s membership of East Midlands Chamber, including business protection services in HR, Health and Safety, Tax and Legal issues
- Access to pre-recorded webinars to increase digital know-how
Eligible applicants will be independent businesses based in the district of Bassetlaw with a bricks and mortar presence in a high street location offering customers the option to walk in without prior appointment and purchase.
We are near allocation for the funding but free Chamber membership will be open to applications to the end of May and adviser support will continue to the end of June.
