We are delighted to announce that Rhubarb Farm has been awarded some much needed funding from Comic Relief to allow the Food Hubs, cookery classes and slow cooker courses developed alongside ABL Health and the @Your Health Your Way service to continue for longer.

The Bassetlaw Food Insecurity Network have been instrumental in the facilitation of these provisions - all of which have already proved to be very successful in supporting local people to access affordable food and learn how to cook on a budget.

With the cost of living affecting millions of families across the UK, being able to provide this kind of support is needed more than ever.

Over the past couple of days, we have been out and about filming with the press team from Comic Relief as they prepare their campaign material for the big day in March 2023.

We would like to thank Comic Relief for their support and dedication to our work and we look forward to seeing the content when it's ready.

We would also like to thank Sainsbury's for match funding all donations to Comic Relief - without their support they would only be able to fund 50% of the projects that they currently assist.

Thanks also go to Ramsden Primary School Food hub, Hallcroft Methodist Church slow cooker class, Serlby Park Academy Food Hub and St Patrick's Catholic Primary School for allowing the Comic Relief team to film at your locations.

We really appreciate it and hope that the footage will genuinely portray how much benefit local people get from this support.
