There a potential scam we need to avoid our customers falling into with the Cost of Living Crisis payments (the first payment of £326 will automatically be dropping into eligible customers bank accounts between 14/7/22 and 31/7/22).
Scammers are contacting customers by Text & asking for their Bank Account details to confirm which account to pay it into. This looks like it is from DWP – This is a scam and customers should never Text their Bank Account details anywhere and DWP would never ask for them by text !
