Mental Health First Aid Adult Training Courses
This training course teaches individuals how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
This virtual course is delivered over 4 shorter sessions on different days with self-learning required prior to its start and in-between each session.
All 4 sessions need to be attended to complete the course.
It's suitable for individuals whose role may include (but does not have to be the primary purpose) provision of support to adults who may have emotional distress, be at higher risk of mental health difficulties, and who have experience of mental health problems.
It's free for individuals from statutory, community and voluntary sector organisations, a core part of whose role and service is working with Derbyshire County or (until stated otherwise) Derby residents. Participants must be over 18 to attend this course.
