Derbyshire County Council - Help the Helpers - Health and Wellbeing Sessions

14th December 2021

Help

Mental health and wellbeing sessions specifically for employees and volunteers from the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.

Connecting with other people is important for your health and wellbeing. Peer to peer wellbeing groups provide a space to build strong and close relationships, an opportunity to share experiences, gain and offer support, get things off your chest as well as many other positives. Help the Helpers run different types of peer to peer wellbeing groups; ones that bring people together with shared experiences, and these experiences can vary. For example, you might share a diagnosis of a particular mental health problem, have similar stressful roles in work or be a group of people experiencing the menopause. You might be a group that just would like to explore some breatihng space within busy lives where there is no set theme. There may be a possibility that you might do activities together such as walking, gardening, sport or being creative.

Online event: Wed, 22 December 2021 - 12:30 – 13:30
