30th May 2022
You are invited to the launch of an exciting, new network aimed at people like you who are involved or interested in being involved in local health and social care services.
‘The People’s Network’ - the first of its kind in the East Midlands, is hosted by the Patient Public Involvement Senate and the East Midlands Academic Health Science Network. It aims to connect people who are involved in health and social care services in the East Midlands and provide a place where people can share, be inspired and flourish in their involvement roles.
The free launch event is online via Zoom on Thursday 7th July 2022 from 10am – 12:30pm (you can join from 09:40am to check your connectivity).
We welcome participants from all communities and encourage people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities and people with disabilities, who are often under-represented, to join us the launch.
People from the Deaf community are encouraged to attend and British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will be available for the duration of the event.
