The Mansfield and Ashfield Echo is a talking magazine for the visually impaired.  We distribute copies free of charge across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Yorkshire and further afield. Some listeners even live in Wales.  We record every fortnight and each edition is about an hour long.   There is a mix of articles on each edition, a few articles relate directly to Nottinghamshire but we also include many general interest articles that may be of interest to people regardless of where they live.

Although people do not have to live in particular area, we do ask that people have a Certificate of Visual Impairment to allow us to post the recordings free of charge as “Articles for the Blind” via the Royal Mail.  Recordings can be send as a disc or on a memory stick.

New listeners are always welcome and the contact details are on the flyer.  People can self-refer or someone can contact us on their behalf.  Further information can also be found on our website:  Mansfield&Ashfield Echo (mansfieldecho.co.uk)
