Good Work IPS (Individual Placement and Support) supports people with severe mental health conditions into employment. It involves intensive, individual support, a rapid job search followed by placement in paid employment, and time-unlimited, in-work support for both the employee and the employer. Good Work IPS also supports people who are in work and struggling or off sick.
The Bassetlaw team has been working with Community Mental Health teams in Bassetlaw since October 2022 and are proud to have already supported many people into new roles or to retain their current job. The team spend 65% of their time meeting clients in the community, they engage with employers on a weekly basis to help find meaningful employment.
