Joined Up Care Derbyshire - Update

16th March

Media Campaign to promote the different clinical staff available to patients for appointments – Your local GP practice has a wide array of health professionals who can help you in different ways, without seeing a doctor first, so you can get the right help and advice more quickly. From physiotherapists and dieticians to pharmacists and nurses, these highly trained experts can help you to help yourself. Next time you have a health concern, consider whether one of these staff could help you or ask for the advice of the reception staff, who are trained to help get you the best care as quickly as possible. We are launching a campaign to encourage patients to seek and make bookings with these clinical staff to open up access for patients to GPs and other clinicians. We are promoting this campaign through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, local newspapers, and radio stations. Online copy will link to the following page on the Joined Up Care Derbyshire website: https://joinedupcarederbyshire.co.uk/about/our-governance-1/gp-practice-health-and-care-staff GP surgeries will be promoting this campaign, through waiting screen images, text messages, and leaflets. We would be grateful if you could help us to get this message out to as many people as possible.
