Let's Chat in 2023

18th January

Our indoor Let’s Chat Derbyshire campaign is still running. The indoor campaign is being rolled out in conjunction with Joined Up Care Derbyshire. Similar to the outdoor version the indoor campaign is aimed at encouraging people to connect and reducing social isolation through having conversations, as well as promoting information about mental health and wellbeing including support available.

Our let’s chat campaign which will be under the JUCD branding is now live. Resources are being printed and then will be sent out across Derbyshire. So far, we have over 100 locations/ organisations signed up across Derby and Derbyshire. Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far.

This indoor campaign is again to encourage conversations around mental health but also now it provides resources which have information around starting conversations, acknowledging poor mental health and how to access support and what support is available. We have included a section for children and young people but are currently developing a separate C&YP campaign to be launched in schools.

We are currently planning the Let’s Chat campaign across this year, this will include signs on foot paths across Derbyshire as well as getting more signs on benches across the county due to the success of last years project. If you would be interested to hear more or register, please do let me know or if you’ve got any other questions please email me on luke.oldham@derbyshire.gov.uk
