Are you passionate about animal welfare and want to learn more about how to care for them? We are excited to announce that we are now offering one-day animal care courses for adults, with tuition fees waived for qualifying individuals.
The courses cover a range of topics, including basic animal care, animal behaviour, and nutrition. Whether you are a pet owner, aspiring veterinary assistant, or simply interested in learning more about animal welfare, these courses are designed to give you the knowledge and skills you need to care for animals properly.
The best part? If you are aged 19 and over (on the 31 August 2022) and are either unemployed and in receipt of qualifying benefits or employed and earning less than £18,525 per year, the tuition fees for these courses are waived. That means you can attend our courses for free, giving you the opportunity to learn valuable skills without worrying about the cost.
Here are the courses we offer:
- Health and Husbandry in Small Animals: Learn how to provide the best care for your small animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, and more.
- Introduction to Animal Nursing: Discover what it takes to be a veterinary assistant or animal care worker, including the basics of animal anatomy, physiology, and disease management.
- Pet First Aid: Be prepared for any emergency, covering everything from wound care to CPR.
