Palliative and end-of-life care (PEoLC) funding opportunity for the voluntary sector

7th February

The national PEoLC Delivery Plan and supporting core metrics recognise the importance of equitable access to high quality PEoLC for all irrelevant of diagnosis or condition, in line with the Long-Term Plan commitment. This is further outlined in the ICB Statutory Guidance and supporting Handbook, that high quality PEoLC requires multi-disciplinary teams to work collaboratively across health and care, including VCSE partners.

The PEoLC team have been given some non-recurrent funding for systems to support winter. The total amount per ICB is £12,000. The funding would need to be allocated within the 23/24 financial year.
