This is a new and exciting 2 week programme which gives young people the chance to experience working at Boots headquarters in Nottingham, NG90 1BS. They will gain experience working in the Customer Service team, which will include shadowing a buddy, listening to and taking calls, and resolving the customers queries. All training will be provided and on hand support throughout.
YP will be offered the opportunity to apply for permanent vacancies within the Customer Service on successful completion of the programme. This assessment will take place within a week of the programme finishing. All YP on the programme will have the support of their buddy, managers and The Princes Trust, to ensure that they are ready and fully prepared for the assessment. The YP will be in a great position to secure a role as they will have had 2 weeks experience above any other candidates.
Taster Day: 3rd August 2023 10:00-13:00
Programme dates: Monday 9th August - Tuesday 22nd August 2023 (Monday – Friday) If a YP successfully secures a position with Boots they will be expected to work between 8am – 8pm, weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota system.
YP must have IT skills which would allow them to input data on to an internal data base while talking to a customer. This is an excellent opportunity for YP to gain new skills, build their confidence and start a career with an amazing employer.
