applications for the Recovery from Alcohol and Drug Dependency Grant are now open. Organisations can apply for up to £40,000 from Derbyshire County Council to support individuals with their recovery journey.

The aim of the grant, which is funded through Derbyshire County Council’s Public Health Department, is to financially support organisations over a period of 12 months, who can provide meaningful activity and positively increase social connections amongst people in or working towards recovery.

This could be done in several ways, and we welcome innovative ideas for providing support to:
•Improve physical and mental health and wellbeing
•Provide purposeful activity, including education, skills training, volunteering, and employment
•Help develop social networks
•Connect people in recovery
•Develop financial capability
•Develop positive thinking and effective decision making
•Build confidence and self-esteem

The closing date for applications is 18/11/22, if you have any questions regarding the application process, please click here!
