Our information days are designed to showcase agencies offering advice, equipment and support to people with a visual impairment. The events include a variety of exhibitors such as Welfare Rights, Fire Service, Deaf and Hearing Support, Talking Newspapers and Age UK and equipment specialists. The events are particularly useful for newly registered people, but are open to everybody – we currently have over 5,000 service users.
We always have a variety of equipment for demonstration and for sale. Visually impaired people can talk to staff and exhibitors from other agencies to find out what help and support is available.
