What does good look like for Specialist Community Support – Have your say 

Local community transformation leads would like to understand the current experiences and feedback of people with lived experience, carers, and professionals, with regards to accessing specialist community support, in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.  

 

Your feedback will help shape how specialist community health, social and voluntary sector support is provided to the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire population.

The Screwfix foundation

The Screwfix Foundation

The Screwfix Foundation is a registered charity set up in 2013. They have a clear purpose of raising funds to support projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community facilities for those in need throughout the UK. They work with both national and local charities, donating much needed funds to help all sorts of projects, from repairing buildings and improving facilities in deprived areas, to decorating the homes of people living with sickness and disabilities.

Find a rainbow call companion: LGBT+ phone befriending (reengage.org.uk) – a national service for people aged 75+

Following the success of our call companions service, we launched rainbow call companions: a free telephone befriending service for LGBT+ people who are lonely, isolated or in need of companionship and feel they would benefit from a friendly phone call every week or two. This is a service specifically for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender plus (LGBT+) people aged 75+ who would like to speak to someone who’s also LGBT+.
