ENROLLING NOW!

Our 19+ Access to Higher Education course is for you if:

  • You're aged 19+
  • You don't have the qualifications you need to get into university
  • You've been away from formal education for some time

The course is completely FREE if you're aged 19-23 and this is your first 'full' level 3 qualification! 

If you're over 23 years of age you may be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan  - this means your course could be free with no loan repayments if you progress to and complete a university course.

 

 

 

 

Why study with us?

 

  • No GCSEs needed - we'll help you to work towards Functional Skills in maths and English.

Ways to study

 

Learn online, in the comfort of your own home, OR at our newly refurbished Stapleford Library and Learning Centre.

 

 

 

 

 

What you'll study

 

  • Human biology, health studies, sociology and psychology.
  • Presentation skills, plus research and referencing techniques which will support you in your studies.
  • Functional Skills in maths and English if you don’t have the GCSEs you need.
  • Plus a range of enrichment and development opportunities including interview techniques, support writing personal statements for university applications, university visits and the opportunity to work towards other qualifications.

 

 

 

 

Course dates and times

 

If you choose to study with us at Stapleford Library and Learning Centre, your course will run Mondays and Tuesdays (term time), 9:30am - 2:30pm.

If you choose to study with us online, your course will run Wednesdays and Thursdays (term time), 9:30am - 2:30pm.

If you need help to achieve an English and/or maths qualification we will support you to do this through our Functional Skills courses.
