The Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Suicide Prevention Strategy Group has just launched an opportunity for community groups and organisations to bid for small grants of up to £500 to prevent suicide and support those bereaved by suicide in local areas.
These grants can be used to help develop new activities or expand current projects aimed at suicide prevention and bereavement support.
Our target priorities include:
- Men between ages 35 to 64
- Older people (aged 65+)
- People who are currently or who have experienced financial or employment difficulties
- People who are at risk of suicide due to other known risk factors
