We are excited to announce the development of an all age, city and county draft Carers Strategy which sets out how we will ensure all local unpaid carers can access the support they need, regardless of where they live in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
It’s fantastic to now be able to share this with a wider audience and begin conversations with carers, local groups and those supporting carers about the strategy which has been co-produced with carers with lived experience and in partnership with both Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Council’s, and local health partners.
Alongside the draft Carers Strategy, we are also launching a six week consultation that seeks the views of carers, their families and those supporting carers on our proposals as outlined in the draft strategy document. The consultation is open from Monday 4th April 2022 until Monday 16th May 2022.
We are holding a webinar on Wednesday 13th April 2022 from 2.00 pm – 3.00 pm where people can find out more about the strategy and consultation process from carers and partners. Please see attached flyer for more information.
