Opportunity Description: We run restorative youth referral order panels for both Nottinghamshire County and Derby City Councils. Part of this is having 2 volunteers from the community to facilitate the order.

This involves an initial panel to help the young person and family identify needs and strategies for help and support in moving forwards, review panels every 12 weeks and a final panel to congratulate the young person and look at their journey.

Panels usually last around an hour and they are all co-ordinated to your availability and preferred locations. Some are online and some in person – again we tailor to your preferences.

We are currently recruiting new volunteers in this area.

If you would like to go ahead, please could you complete the attached New Volunteer Form and return this to me. I also enclose our GDPR leaflet and a leaflet which is given to a young person when they get a referral order, the middle section gives a little overview of the volunteer panel. Your role would be a facilitator and we will give you all the training and support required for you to be successful in this role.
