The Cheapside Community Hub aims to bring residents together through interactive sessions focused on sustainability, health, and community connection. Each event will have morning and afternoon sessions, limited to 20 participants, ensuring meaningful interactions. Activities will include social cooking, sustainable gardening, DIY workshops, and nature-based adventures, offering hands-on learning and community building. With the help of volunteers, these events will raise engagement, promote new skills, and strengthen community bonds.

Summary
As a DIY/Handyman Volunteer, you will assist in leading workshops focused on woodworking, repairs, and the construction of community items such as bird boxes, garden furniture, and other practical projects. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and want to share their skills with others.

Key Responsibilities
• Help lead hands-on workshops teaching basic woodworking and repair skills.
• Assist in constructing community items like bird boxes, benches, etc
• Provide guidance and support to participants during workshops, ensuring safety and skill development.
• Promote sustainable practices by using reclaimed materials when possible.
