Garden project helper

Opportunity Description: Grove Street Methodist church is renovating it's garden space and would like volunteers to assist in the renovation. The project will have various hands on aspects and will take a currently unused space and turn it into a welcoming environment for socialising, events and the public to enjoy.

Who we are looking for: We are looking for individuals with a passion for gardening, who wish to have a positive impact on the community.

Practical considerations: There will be many physical elements to the renovation, so this needs to be taken into consideration when applying.
Recruitment method: Application Form, Informal Discussion
Disabled Access details: The side entrance to the building has a ramp and the doors are wide, leaving the building accessible.
Expenses details: Travel expenses can be claimed
Any Age/Gender restrictions: There are no age or gender restriction
Support for volunteers with additional needs: We do support those with additional needs.
Induction Arrangments: An induction will be performed for new volunteers and project helpers.
Insurance Cover: The church has a comprehensive insurance policy.
Support Available: There will be mentors throughout the project. You can also contact the volunteer coordinator, or the safeguarding officer if necessary.
Training: Training will be provided.
