Friendship Group Volunteer

Opportunity Description: This group is predominantly for individuals over 65. The volunteer role will be to open and close the venue, to help with refreshments and to chat to the attendees. It is a lovely warm and welcoming group where people play cards and games and have a drink and a chat.

Who we are looking for: We are looking for someone reliable who can open the venue at 9.45 and close it at 13.00. The group runs weekly on Tuesdays. The idea is that the group will run itself with help from the volunteer role. Attendees order their own lunches which are delivered at 12.00 . The volunteer would need to be friendly and want to engage with the attendees. Attendees do make their own drinks but this could be something that may be required occasionally. There are usually between 8-12 attendees.
