The BrightLife Champions Against Loneliness Award’s dinner is an annual event at which we recognise and celebrate those members in our local communities who have gone above and beyond to help to prevent and relieve loneliness. We would like to receive nominations for people living in Chesterfield, Bolsover and North East Derbyshire.
If you, or someone you know - be it a friend, neighbour, family, carer, medical professional, charity or even a business. - has shown real merit in preventing loneliness and isolation from otherwise occurring, then we want to hear from you!
We want to know who THE CHAMPIONS are within our communities, and we want to acknowledge and celebrate them at the BrightLife Champions Against Loneliness Awards on Saturday March 16th, 2024, at the SMH Stadium, Chesterfield.
Winning CHAMPIONS will each be presented with an award and will attend the dinner with the person who has nominated them. The award’s evening will include a meal and music.
How are the Awards decided?
The Award in each category is decided based on the following:
· The number of nominations received by an individual/organisation in a category
- A review of the nominations in each category by the BrightLife adjudication panel, focussing, in particular, on the ‘What’s the story behind your nomination?’ section of the nomination
To nominate someone, follow the link below and simply fill out the nomination form on the website and press Submit. Every nomination tells a story and the story is very important.
