DBS Workshops

29th January

The East Midlands Sports Welfare Forum is teaming up with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) as part of the DBS' Supporting Safer Sport Campaign to bring you two FREE online workshops. These sessions will outline what the DBS does and your responsibilities as a sports organisation.

Sports organisations perform a vital role, providing huge physical, mental, and social benefits to millions of children and adults across the country so it is essential that this important work is done as safely as possible.

The DBS supports all sports sector organisations, from grassroots to elite level, to make informed recruitment decisions when hiring new staff and volunteers.

Join Lizzie Whittington, DBS’s East Midlands regional outreach adviser, to learn more about the DBS and your responsibilities.

📅Workshop One: An Introduction to DBS – Wednesday 12th February 6:30pm to 7:30pm
