DCC - Stronger Families, Safer Children Training

28th February

Derbyshire County council

Stronger Families, Safer Children Training

There will always be some children, young people and families that will need our support. The aim is to provide the right support at an early stage before the need increases.

We will be holding 2 sessions – 1 virtual & 1 face to face during which we will explore what the Stronger Families, Safer Children model is all about; why it is important and what it looks like for the children, young people, and families we work with.

We will share key tools and documentations for use in practice.

By the end of the 2 days, we hope you will feel more informed about how Derbyshire Children’s services operate, the model and practice we adhere to, so that you too have some new ideas and tools on how to undertake direct work and assessments with families.

Session one needs to be completed first before accessing the face to face session two.

This training is for External partners only (DCC staff must access the  SFSC  training through the DLO)
