As part of the ongoing response to the Cost of Living in Bassetlaw, Citizens Advice Bassetlaw, Bassetlaw Action Centre, and the Department of Work and Pensions will be on hand to talk to residents at an “Energy Advice Drop in” event on Wednesday 17th January from 10am – 12 noon at Bassetlaw District Council, Queen’s Buildings, Worksop.

The event will kick start a week-long collaborative social media campaign in the district to promote “Big Energy Saving Week”, which aims to highlight easy energy cost savings people can make in their homes and everyday lives.

At the event on Wednesday 17th January,  residents can head to the main reception at the council office at Queen’s Buildings to get on-the-spot advice, guidance and support on the subject of energy. The energy advisors from Citizens Advice and Bassetlaw Action Centre will be able to talk to residents about energy saving, switching suppliers, home efficiency, energy bills and debt, and how to access further support if they need it.
