Grants of up to £2,000 will soon be available to community, youth and voluntary groups, that would like to bring local people together and transform an urban space by sowing and growing UK native wildflowers and plants.
The funding will be made available through the charity Grow Wild. It can be used to support activities and costs such as seeds, plants, soil, materials, events, workshops, specialist experts, and contactor costs. Successful groups will receive their Community Grant funding in April and projects need to be completed by the end of October 2024.
Resident’s groups, community associations, and health authorities/health boards are also eligible to apply. Closing date 30 January 2024.
