The University of Sheffield, in partnership with the NHS, is offering a unique opportunity for 60 local people to be trained as vaccinators to help with the COVID vaccine booster campaign.

There are 60 training spaces available on Tuesday 21 December 2021 at Northern General Hospital from either 08:45 – 12:20 or 13:00 – 16:30

The sessions, which are free to participants, will cover basic life support, anaphylaxis, and intramuscular (IM) injections.  You will have to complete some e-learning and pre-reading prior to attending the session and then complete a competency assessment.  You will then also be supervised on your first shift at a vaccination site.

This is a rare opportunity to be on the very front line of the fight against COVID and provide support to your local community.
