World Suicide Prevention Day 2024 - Change The Narrative. Toolkit and more

21st August

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is 10th September 2024.

This year’s theme is ‘Change the narrative’ #StartTheConversation.

Toolkit

To support WSPD 2024 we have put together a toolkit of resources you can use and share within your organisation, workplace and community. The toolkit includes social media posts, posters and other useful bits.

It can be found in our Suicide Prevention Toolkit which is updated all year round: https://bit.ly/DerbyshireSPToolkit

If you like, you can tag us in your social media posts or reshare the posts from @DCCMHSP.

Podcasts

On 3rd and 17th September, we are releasing two podcast episodes dedicated to talking about the prevention of suicide. The first is with Ryan where we talk about his attempts on his life, and suicidal thoughts and how he overcame them. In the second we speak with Claire about the loss of her partner from suicide and her own struggles with PTSD and anxiety. These episodes and past episodes can be found by searching Let’s Chat Derbyshire on your chosen podcast platform or visiting www.linktr.ee/dccmhsp
