We're here to listen, no judgement, no pressure, and help you work through what's on your mind. We'll never tell you what to do.
If you need advice or specialist support for a specific issue, such as a bereavement or domestic abuse, we've put together a list of specialist organisations, including their contact details, which you may find helpful.
The Mansfield branch offers emotional support in a safe environment, to talk over problems, feelings and issues causing stress and worry, especially those creating extreme despair. One to one appointments for listening support are available by contacting our branch.
We have over 50 trained volunteers who respond to over 16,377 contacts for support by phone, email, text and face to face visits to our branch.
Our work with in the community is extremely important to us and includes talks in schools, community groups, workplaces and organisations who maybe interested in and benefit from knowing more about our service.
We are proud to have a number of close partnerships with local organisations, including HM Ranby Prison, Network Rail and Mansfield Football Club, where we are working together to provide support and advise to people in need.
Everyone in our Branch is a volunteer with many opportunities to get involved. Our listening service is just one way, others include roles in administration, fundraising, IT support and within our Charity Shop.
